Wholesale · Since 1979

Wholesale coffee roasted in Lakewood since 1979.

Fresh-roasted Colorado coffee — and practical support from a roaster who actually answers the phone — for cafes, offices, restaurants, hospitality, and local businesses across the Denver area.

We're a retail roaster first

That isn't a footnote — it's the whole reason our wholesale coffee is good. We started by selling coffee to people who decide, every single week, whether they liked it enough to buy it again. If the cup isn't good, we don't get the next sale. That standard never switches off.

A lot of wholesale roasters work the other way around: they roast to a price. They start with the number they need to hit, buy beans cheap enough to hit it, and then blend and reformulate to keep that number steady. The coffee serves the price.

We buy great beans — single origins and micro-lots from individual farmers and small cooperatives — and we roast a lot of different coffees, not a handful of blends that are really the same few origins remixed and roasted darker. That breadth gives your repeat customers genuine variety and range: in what you brew, and in what you sell as beans under your brand or ours.

The last thing we want is a bag of your coffee sitting on a shelf for a month, stamped with a roast date from a season that already passed. Fresh, seasonal, and worth rebuying — that's the bar we hold ourselves to with our own customers, and it's the one we bring to yours.

What partners get

Roasted to order in Lakewood

Small batches roasted the week they ship — not stock pulled from a national warehouse. The coffee reaches you days off the roaster, not months.

A selection built for your menu

We build the program around your customers and how you serve, not a one-size-fits-all catalog handed to every account.

Custom blends & white-label

Put your own name on the bag, or develop a house blend that is yours alone. When the volume and the fit are right, we build it with you.

The right price to make a profit

Coffee has to work on your P&L, not just in the cup. We structure the program so there is real margin in every drink you pour.

A range you can build on

Single origins, blends, decaf that is actually good, and seasonal rotating lots — enough variety to keep a menu interesting without juggling five suppliers.

Product education

Origin, varietal, and brewing notes your team can use to tell the story behind the cup — the kind of detail that sells the second cup.

Colorado's newest oldest coffee roaster

Contour is a young brand with a long memory. We were born out of Village Roaster — the oldest continuously family-owned and operated coffee roaster in Colorado, roasting in the Denver area since 1979.

Contour is how more than four decades of roasting shows up for wholesale partners today: the same family, the same roastery discipline, and a sharper focus on the operators we supply. New name, old hands on the roaster.

Formats built around how you use coffee

Bag-in-box (20–50 lb) is ideal for high-volume accounts — busy cafes grinding their own beans through the day, and operations that repackage beans to sell at retail. Less packaging, less waste, one container to work out of.

Bagged and sticker-labeled coffee — retail-style bags under your label or ours — works for shelves, grab-and-go, and anyone reselling whole bags. And because we are right here in Lakewood, local pickup is always on the table: pull your order directly and keep the conversation open.

Wholesale FAQ

Do you supply cafes and restaurants?

Yes — cafes, espresso bars, restaurants, bakeries, hotels, and specialty retail. We work with operators across the Denver metro and Front Range.

Do you work with offices?

Yes. Offices, coworking spaces, and break-room programs from a few pounds a week to bulk weekly delivery.

Can you help us choose a coffee?

Yes. We don't expect every business to know what they want before they taste it. We recommend based on your menu, equipment, and customer mix.

Do you offer training?

Brewing specs, recipe dial-in, and staff education for partners who want it. Specifics depend on program size and what makes sense for your operation.

Do you offer local delivery?

We're a Lakewood roaster supplying Denver-area businesses. Delivery details depend on your location and program — we'll talk through what works once we know where you are.

Can you create a custom blend?

Sometimes. Custom blends work when volume and fit justify the development time. We talk it through honestly before committing.

What is the best way to start?

Send the inquiry form below or call. We aim to respond within one business day. The first step is usually a 15-minute call or a sample box.
